Got the crap scared out of me!

I was on the Natcher on the way back to Bowling Green today from my moms house and it was storming pretty bad, anyway my mind was wondering and I was bored like usual on the drive back. In a split second a bolt of lightning struck the highway right infront of me about 40 yards while I was traveling 60mph!!! Talk about a eye opener!!! I had to check my pants...all I could see after it hit was solid white for about 3 seconds and I slammed on my brakes because I thought I was getting hit!!:eek::eek: I guess I got lucky....man was I wide eyed the rest of the drive!!

Lighting is something else. It always scares me. I had a relative one time, showing a cow at the fair. Lighting hit the cow, traveled through the chain. Instantly killing both, it melted the change in his pocket. That is some power.

The electricity at the house was knocked out earlier. I was on the front porch, finishing up my new magazine. The thunder was really clapping. Everytime it went off, I jumped alittle. Louder than a gun shot.
