I have been getting lots of pics on my trail cams of coyotes. and the strange thing is very few are at night. most are middle of the day like 11-2. and we have been seeing several the last few years. me and my dad tried hunting them last feb. but had no luck. i made my own ecaller and had no luck at all. is anyone interested this winter after everything else goes out of season in helping me with my problem and showing me what im doin wrong. we have a few monthes to get everything lined out but just get in contact with me.

big- my brother and I may be able to help you (I'll have to check with him of course). He has a Foxpro e-caller and I have the jack-in-the-box decoy. Part of your problem may have been not being where the coyotes were when you set up. Obviously, they won't come in to a call they can't hear. In any case, try some additional scouting, keep track of times, weather, etcetera when you hear the yotes howling in the area- or any other way you know they're there.

we had photos of a couple that were in the same area everyday around 11am and i set up around 10 and started calling and never had anything show up. I was in a deer stand overlooking the corner weve been seeing them in with good wind direction in full camo. I just cant figure out why we see so many but they wont respond to a call.

Dude, you can count me in. I would be willing to help whenever I can. I've got a DIY e-caller. some mouth calls, and plenty of lead to throw at them. :D

So couldn't you try to hunt them now? Say, between 11 and 2. I'd set up near the game cam.
