All,
I found a site the other day that had a homebrew arrow saw using a dremel tool with a large cut off disk. I have two dremel tools at the house and have been thinking of making an arrow saw table.
After looking at the specs I have found that you have to have a motor that runs 5,000-8,000 RPM for Carbon. My dremel has 3-speeds 5,000-30,000 RPM. I think it will be more than enough. Have any of you ever made a homemade arrow saw before? The blade is what is throwing me it recommends a special large cut-off composite discs for the dremel, but you can only find the disks for formica, ceramic and steel should these work?
