I'd say it's a cotton picker.

Yes the back part(green part) is a cotton picker..what about the front??

it looks like part of a corn head but why put a corn head on a cotton picker

its not a corn head ...its a silage head conected to a home made sorghum mill....drive down the row,cut and grind the sorghum as you go...this has been our project the last few weeks...the silage head and the sorghum mill are both hydro. driven..thats lets you run every thing at the correct speed...should be able to cut and grind 500 gal of juice in a couple of hours....then we get to spend the rest of the day cooking syurp...nothing better in this nice hot weather:D

Well thats just neater than sliced bread. There is'nt nuthin better than molasses, butter, and homemade biscuits.

My son Itchy started out wanting to raise an acre for a FFA project...That turned into 3 acres after He and his grand-dad got done planting...He's gonna be one busy kid in a couple of weeks:D

I like to watch process of making molasses but sure hate the yellow jackets it draws in. Use to stop by a mill out by Beaver Dam and get a gallon each year. It would be to hot to touch the can for two days.

Yelp,yellow jackets are a pain...Built pop a sorghum house a couple of years ago....Lots of screen windows and fans,its hot but theres no yellow jackets any more
