Nolin was on fire today. Not alot of boat traffic up in the river part. We started fishing about 3:00 after my mishap with the plug. Long emberssing story won't get in to it, but I will say I put it in. In 3 hours we caught over 20 bass not exaggrating and not counting the ones we lost. 4 fish were over 15in and one was 17 1/2 and was over 3lbs. We lost 2 others at the boat that were keepers. This was the first time me and my Dad have fished in 10 years. We both stay busy but you can bet after today we will make more time to get out on the lake. Sliver rattle traps in diffrent depths was the poision today.
Nolin : is my FAVORITE lake to bass fish. I have never black light fished it at night. Has anyone had much success at night there? It is Excellent through the week like you said when not alot of boat traffic. Caught my biggest bass on Nolan this Spring.

I have been catching a few at night on Nolin, about the only time I can stand it with this heat. Cathing some fish is not the problem but getting one over 15" seems to be a little difficult, for me at least.
