It is funny, but an excellent learning tool when it comes to teaching weapons safety. We intergrated that video into our close quarters marksmanship safety class 3 years ago. It gets a good laugh, but also makes you think about rule#1 "All guns are ALWAYS loaded"!

Thing is you see the guy take the clip out but doesn't eject the round in the chamber....Duh!!!! Gun still loaded equals shooting self in foot......:eek:

That was stupid of him. There was a rookie cop in our area that shot himself last weekend during a part at his house. Witnesses said he was demonstrating safety. Took the clip out but forgot the one in the pipe.

Yeah, I kinda wondered what happened to the "no matter what, treat it as loaded" rule too! What is even funnier is he played it off and kept going! You know that got never lived that down!:D Its a good thing it was only his foot and not a kid
