Hi guys, I was just looking for a little advice here. I have a buddy who is getting ready to purchase a hunting blind for deer as well as turkeys. He would like to bowhunt out of it. He was asking me about it, but I don't know a whole lot about the blinds on the market now. He would like to stay around the $200 dollar range. One he was looking at was the Cabela's Full Draw 5X. Do any of you guys know anything about that blind or any others that might me good.

You can find plenty of good blinds for under and around that price range. Some things Ive come across in my experiences with blinds are:

Make sure you have plenty of room for everything you plan to do, especially if for archery, you want to have plenty of room to draw your bow.

The type of windows, how they close and open, and if they make noise if you need to do either while hunting.

The color of the interior, I would recommend a black or dark as possible to help conceal all movement.

Ive had good luck with Ameristeps Doghouse for which you could buy two with 200.00. I would stay away from the Outhouse though, not much room.

We use the ones from Big Game Treestands for our Hunting/filming. I personally like the Escape Deluxe. PLENTY of room, scent proof, and shoot thru windows.

I've got a double bull prostaff for sale. I was asking $275 but will take $250 if you pick it up.

I've got the Ground Max Eclipse made by Big Game. It's a great bling. I sat in the pouring rain during turkey season and didn't get wet. It's quiet and plenty of room. All this for $100

The Double Bulls are nice, but I would have a hard time buying a new one at $400

If Skin_dog has one for $275, that's not a bad deal ;)

Double bulls are very nice. I know somebody who had problems with the rods bending or breaking(can't remember) but he called the company and they are paying postage for him to ship it to them and installing carbon fiber rods for free and shipping it back for free. He has had the blind well over a year too.
