I am looking for a recreational bicycle to purchase. Preferably in the western to central KY area. Not looking to spend more the $200. Would like a bike that doesn't cause the rider to "stoop" over too bad, so road racing bikes are not an option.

Also looking for an elliptical machine. Let me see what you got

Thanks,
Jason

How tall are you? I know of a couple but it would depend on how big you are.

Yeah I got a buddy who has a 19" Specialized Hardrock. He's 6'1". It has some upgrades. The rear derailleur is a Shimano XT, it has a Salsa saddle, and I forget what else. He wanted $150 for it but then this chick moved in and started riding it so I'll have to see if he still wants to sell it.

It's good for the most part but one time his rear skewer came loose and damaged part of the dropout. I forget the details, but now he has to put several washers between the end of the skewer and the rear dropout but then it works fine. If you go mountain biking on it and hit a bunch of bumps you have to stop and retighten the skewer every few miles.

Also have another buddy who has an old 19" Specialized Rockhopper. I sold it to him for like $75 and I don't think he's used it but once. He was trying to sell it back to me awhile back. I could probably check with him.

Yeah, they're recreational mountain bikes. The guy with the hardrock said he'd sell it. Haven't been able to get in touch with the other guy with the rockhopper. It's about 10 years older and less comfortable though. Are you from Owensboro? I think I'm going to Evansville tomorrow, might could meet you there and save some driving if you're interested.

I think I am going to pass on this one. The mountain bike handles will cause me to hunch over to much for my back.

Thanks though!
