remington 700 muzz. 209 primer

i am having a problem of my 209 primers falling off the 209 holder when i tilt my gun up. is there a solution or do i need to buy another 209 holder.

I use the musket caps instead of the 209 on m,y 700 ML. Musket caps are twice the size of the regular number 11s which should give you plenty of flame and in my opinion they are much easier to work with then the 209s, especially putting on and taking off. Musket nipple under $10

I had the same problem. Remington told me they had this problem on some of the early conversion kits. They sent me a new 209 nipple free. Keep a pick handy with the new nipple because its harder to get the spent primer out. good luck
