I shoot them well the bass pro version. They are shooting great. Whats your problem?

I've got some and more on the way. I've got 2 friends that shoot them as well.
What is the issue you're having?

I've not had any problems. I do think, according to the charts, that I'm underspined, but they still fly great with field points or Slick Tricks.

I'm impressed with them for the most part but i have a couple that the nock and collar pulls slightly out of when i shoot them. They fishtail and of course lose speed and penetration, not to mention accuracy.I have them marked, just wondering if anyone else had this problem.

What is your bow setup?
I'm sure Mr. Meador can help once he gets back from Indiana.

I haven't had any isues with nocks or bulldog collars either. Only problem is the come flying back at you if you hit a steel plate or fence board. Don't ask how I know that. :o

do all of your arrows fishtail, or just the ones with the lose components? before you shoot the arrows again, glue the nock inserts in place with goat tuff or gorilla glue. make sure your nock is not installed in the bushing, and make sure the glue is dry before reinstalling the nock.

make sure when you glue your inserts they are seated completely. use the push and twist method for installation.

if all of your arrows fly poorly, you have a tuning issue.

shooting with lose nock inserts can crack the ends of your arrow. inspect them closely before you glue

Only a couple arrows do this, the only problems i have with the rest is shooting the nocks off:rolleyes:.

Keith are you talking about gluing the bulldog collars to the shaft? The arrows have no inserts. Thanks

that collar that goes over the end of the shaft is the nock insert....

So i glue it to the shaft?I try to make sure that they are seated properly before i shoot them, but would that be about the same as dry firing my bow?

if the collar is slid up the shaft, and you dont catch it and shoot the arrow, you run the risk, at a minimum, of splitting the shaft, or exploding the shaft, or blowing the bow as a result of the arrow failure. it is no different than shooting a nock that isnt seated firmly in the insert/collar.

Try shooting another arrow with a little more weight. With more mass it should get a little more quiet.

If you're shooting Maxima's now, try shooting an Axis, FMJ, or Carbon Express CX's. Anything to get you around 400+ grains of weight will help tremendously.

If you are worried about kinetic energy, go heavier. You will be surprised how much KE you can get from a heavy arrow and you won't have pins stacked so tight on your sight like you will with a lght, flat shooting arrow.

Good luck
