Got my clover and soybeans finally planted. Clover has been up for 1 month and the beans are about 5in. tall. Just wodering how long before the deer will start using them. When do they really start feeding on them? Thanks for the help!!!

I put out some beans this year and they are eating them as fast as they come up. They are only a couple inches high if you can even find one.

Rack Um , you should already have deer in them if you have very many around the area. Its not a magnet until they need a food source, honey suckle is a great source of food right now too, so just wait them out.

I've always planted food plots for 15 years and I've learned one thing. Deer are just like turkeys, as soon as you know all the answers, they change all the questions. I've watched them wade through clover to go eat brush and fescue! Be patient. They will come when they are ready. I've had 1/2 acre of beans wiped out in 2 nights.
