Hybrids?

The only thing that gets anywhere near that big around here are redears.

That is excellent! I love catching those Big Bluegills. I would lose my mind if I got into some that big though. I think the Kentucky state record is over four pounds! I'm having a hard time picturing what a four pound bluegill looks like.

Those are coppernose bream. We got them out of Georgia from some fish farm. We stocked one our ponds with them about 4 years ago and now they are monsters. We have been catching them in about 12 feet of water ,but sometimes they are hard to find. They are also great to eat...... I got more pics but for some reason it won't let me post them?

You have probably used up your alloted amount of storage space on the server for attachments. You can either go back and delete the attachments in old threads or try this: http://www.kentuckyhunting.net/forums/showthread.php?t=4792

Wasn't Hogzilla from that farm, or near there? I think I remember hearing about that guy raising some kind of big bluegill species. His theory was that the hog got into the fish feed and that's why it was so big.
