I don't know if any guys on here heard about it or not but hunting show personality Roger Raglin was in a pretty bad boating accident a couple weekends ago. He was filming a show up on Lake Erie and the guy who owned the boat he was in, ran into what is basically a 30 ft tall seawall going about 30 mph at night. Long story short, Roger was unconcious for about 20 minutes and required about 30 stitches in his head, Rogers wife has alot of broken bones in her face, Rogers hunting partner and camera man "Charger" Wiley, who also has his own show, had to be airlifted out along with the first mate of the boat. Charger is now back at home and still undergoing testing. Just got off the phone with Roger and he said looks like everyone will be alright, minus the $500,000 boat which is totally trashed. Good news is Roger and Charger are still planning on coming down to our Expo here in about 3 weeks, barring any emergency surgery. Jimney Christmas!!!

Half million $$ Boat and no radar ??? Lucky to be alive. Those breakwalls take a toll on boats every year on the great lakes most times with fatal results.

Worked a DU booth at a hunting show in lexington several years ago, and our booth was next to his. Got to know him well over the three days, he is a great guy, and his wife is even better. What a great lady, and hot.
Hate to hear about the boat accident, hope all recover.

So, kinda off the subject...What is Roger's background? Was he an athlete or something? Seems this is what I heard...

I have been watching Roger Raglin for years. I dont think anyone can match his emotion ,he gets carried away with exitement. I bet he has killed more P&Y deer from the ground than any other hunter has, He shows alot of dedication in what he does and that is what makes his shows worth watching, and I am pretty sure he know what hes doing. Have you seen the wall? I hope Roger& His wife and all involved in the accident recover very quickly.

That is funny though I hunt with a western guide who has made a show with Roger. I commented on what fine shape he was in, and that I could never have done that. My guide laughed and told me that all is seldom as it appears on camera. That both Roger and his camerman sucked those cigarettes big time, and that they were suckin' air off camera.
