tonight most of the show was hunts from Ky...not sure where they was actually at, but then they showed a trail cam shot of a bobcat taking a deer down ..but they said the deer finally appeared to get away from its attacker..

one of them suckers jump on a fella he would most likely soil his undies quickly

do they vary in size? most i heard were fairly small critters this one appeared to be well fed or a large one

Yes, I saw the show. They were in Sturgis,Ky at TC Game Trails. The Muzzy moment was some very cool pics of a bobcat attacking a full grown doe ( a fawn by her side)!

In one of the pictures it looked like the doe was about to kick it in the face.

Rutnbuck,

Saw the show. Man, Stan Potts gets fired up! That TC Game Trails gets a lot of attention.

Realtree, NAW, TC Gregg Ritz, Larry Weishun, and many others have recorded shows there.

QDMA has done a few articles about it i their mag. Nice place, with some good mature deer on it.

I wonder if they (TC Game Trails) ever open up any hunts to the public(us) or is it just for all the big names in the hunting industry?

I hate it that TC Game Trails gets the attention it does considering I hunt very close to there. I have seen Larry Weishun(sp?) a couple of times coming out. He actually shot a 160 class buck one year that I had seen. If you want to hunt it, you have to pay some big bucks.

Its privately owned, just like any farm, not sure why they would ever open it up to the public.
Its not only a great piece of hunting property, but its very beneficial for deer research. They did a study when they first bought it, using trail cams. I can't remember the number of cameras and pics they took, but it was in the tens of thousands I believe.
Its the ideal scenario of what happens when you manage your property.

I Also Have Hunting Ground Around Tc, It Is A Large Area That They Leased To Test There Guns. Greg Then Turned It Into A Big Buck Heaven. Every Year Some Of The Pro's Show Up In Sturgis And You Might Get Lucky And Run Into Them At Pizza Hut Or A Gas Station.
I Was Told That For Around $ 3,800.00 You Can Hunt For A Week. Last Year A Friend Of Mine Arrowed A Nice 160 Class Deer That More Then Likely Came From Tc.
Good Hunting.

man, we must be neighbors. I just got off highland creek doing some scouting. The sturgis property used to be owned by alcoa aluminum. It was bought by kimball intl. they manufacture office furniture, they bought the property for all the timber on it. They began a guiding service on the property, word got out, then tc got their hand in on the deal. back when alcoa owned it you could put in and get drawn for hunts , back in the good ol' daysl. I have hunted many times on the property, some drawn, others by my own drawing. The place is incredible, but not just because of what tc or anybody has done, it has been awesome for years and years, just because of its remoteness and shear size, 13000 acres.
