I saw a small portion of the last interview that she did with Larry King the other night. She was in so much pain and just looked so tired. Bless her heart.

I don't miss her at all. She and her ex-husband Jim Bakker stole millions of dollars from people who love God. They kept up the scam until the law busted their butts. Jim Baker got sent up and Tammy Faye testified against him to stay out of jail. Once Jim got sent to prison Tammy divorced him. Then remarried to this Messner dude. I bet she ain't in Heaven, she's down in hell......

Everyone pays for their sins one way or another... still hate to see anyone in that much pain.

Do you think people who misbehave are stricken with disease so they can suffer and die? Not sure I do. I've known a whole lot of solid, saintly people who suffered horribly with cancer or other ailments. I'm no fan of Tammy Faye, and I think she and Jim did a terrible service to Christianity in general, but I wouldn't wish that on her. I might wish it on a muslim jihadist, but not Tammy Faye.

Judge not, lest ye be judged! May she rest in peace.

This discussion reminds me of various favorite verses of mine from the middle of Ecclesiastes:

"There is something else meaningless that occurs on earth: righteous men who get what the wicked deserve, and wicked men who get what the righteous deserve. This too, I say, is meaningless. 15 So I commend the enjoyment of life, because nothing is better for a man under the sun than to eat and drink and be glad. Then joy will accompany him in his work all the days of the life God has given him under the sun."
-- Ecclesiastes 8:14-15

So I reflected on all this and concluded that the righteous and the wise and what they do are in God's hands, but no man knows whether love or hate awaits him. All share a common destiny—the righteous and the wicked, the good and the bad, the clean and the unclean, those who offer sacrifices and those who do not.
As it is with the good man,
so with the sinner;
as it is with those who take oaths,
so with those who are afraid to take them.
This is the evil in everything that happens under the sun: The same destiny overtakes all. The hearts of men, moreover, are full of evil and there is madness in their hearts while they live, and afterward they join the dead. Anyone who is among the living has hope —even a live dog is better off than a dead lion!
--Ecclesiastes 9:1-4

However many years a man may live,
let him enjoy them all.
But let him remember the days of darkness,
for they will be many.
Everything to come is meaningless.
Be happy, young man, while you are young,
and let your heart give you joy in the days of your youth.
Follow the ways of your heart
and whatever your eyes see,
but know that for all these things
God will bring you to judgment.
-- Ecclesiastes 11:8-9

Remember your Creator
in the days of your youth,
before the days of trouble come
and the years approach when you will say,
"I find no pleasure in them"
-- Ecclesiastes 12:1

I don't miss her, but I didn't know her. I'm sure her children miss her. I also certainly hope that she's not in hell. I hope she made things right with the Lord and that she was forgiven. After all, no matter how good we may think we are, without the forgiveness that comes from the blood of our Saviour Jesus Christ, we'll all be in hell. I certainly wouldn't wish that on anyone.

I saw some snipits of her deathbed interview with Larry King. It was intresting that she showed herself to the public looking like that. Most celebrities hide from the camara when they have a pimple.
That interview puts death right in your face. I was almost expecting her to die on camera.
She still had a ton of makeup on. Kind of like putting makeup on a peice of beef jerky. Sad thing to see.

I too was not a fan of what her first husband and she did to people in the name of the "P.T.L." but we are all human and I am sure she suffered enough through all of that and then the cancer. I call myself a God fearing man who tries daily to put my faith into what I do but I too am human and have teetered off the path a few times in life...I am sure that she is now resting comfortably and without pain...I would not wish a cancerous death on anyone...
