That guy deserves some kind of award for standing up and stating the trueth. I could just imagine if Louisville had a few individuals like this on thier council. The crime rate would drop by leaps and bounds on the west end. Way to go!!!!!!!

Its about time someone staes something without all the pc bs attached. He spoke his mind. the mother should concentrate on squaring her thug of a son away and a little less on suing the messenger. But I am sure where her heart lies is not with her son but money.

Amen to this guy....If Rev. Coleman and 2X had a set of balls they would be telling the thugs of Louisville the same thing....But crime doer's breed crime doer's so that aspect on the situation is clear. As long as Coleman and 2X are still idolized in Louisville, nothing is going to change.......

I read an article last night in the paper about Michael Vick and his troubles. I was shocked when the article stated that the Rev. Al Sharpton was siding with the Humane society about animal cruelty. I thought for sure he would be on Vicks' side, about how he has been set up and he's done nothing wrong. Maybe Al is finally coming around to his senses.

He's on the side of the animals, because he knows Vick don't stand a chance in this one from all the evidence they got against him...... But I bet Jesse Jackson takes his side...Just like he did with O.J. Simpson....

First off, I also enjoyed the letter. It appears that these 2 had some history together.

On the flip side, my initial high regard of our esteemed Cleveland council member after reading the letter dropped a little (not much but a little) when he copied it to a reporter at the Cleveland Plain Dealer. Sending it to the newspaper makes it look as though his "tough on drugs" stance was a politically motivated ploy for the next election.

Maybe Al is finally coming around to his senses.

I think you presume too much. If he saw any race angle in this case, he'd be all over it. The only "sense" Sharpton had in this instance was recognizing that he'd look like a complete buffoon if he tried to defend dog fighting, ala Clinton Portis or Chris Samuels.
