Grandson Shipping out the 25th

Yep headed for Fort Sill, Oklahoma the 25th for BCT then on to Redstone Arsenal in Alabama for AIT. He chose the MOS of 89A Ammunition stock control and accounting specialist , this is a new MOS and he will be in the first class starting the 10th of Oct. His AIT will last 7 weeks 4 days and where he goes from there is anyones guess. But since this first class consist of only 10 bodys the concenses is he will be at Redstone a while teaching to others what he learns himself. He sure wants to go to Germany at one point.

Poor boy is so excited he stayed up most of the night talking to anyone who he could corner to listen...:D... ran down the batterys in two landline phones and his cell.

Congrats to the grandson Duster, I know your proud of him and so are the rest of us..... He should have fun, but dang I hate the heat of the summer going thru Boot Camp and AIT.... Toughen up those hands for sure, down doing pushups on that 100 plus degree asphalt.......

He will love Germany I spent 4 1/2 years there tell him to travel and see the sights there are a bunch of beautiful castles there
