I went to Guist Cr. today to do a little fishing....Got hot around 1ish so decided to head to the house. Rolling north of Shelbyville, I look in my side mirror to see what I thought was a strap hanging off the side of the boat slapping the pavement. As I slowed, I noticed it was a black snake....and a BIG one. Its head was bouncing on the pavement at 45 mph and the body still in the boat!! Then it rolled on out, rolled a time or two on the road, and took off. :eek: It was 6+ feet long if it was an inch. Looks like the ol' snake from my shed that has been around for years got relocated today....just glad he didn't decide to come out from under that console when I was sitting there. I can't for the life of me figure out where he hid all day. I'm sure the people behind me on the road got a kick out of that one. :D
