anyone know anything about snowboards????

was wanting some info on snowboards,,,it is not for me :eek::eek:,,i would break my stupid neck if i got on one,,,,heck,, now that i think about it,,i shouldn't even be on a 4 wheeler,,,,,,,anyway,,,we are going to N.Y. in about 2 years for our 10 year anniversary,,,we decided there because thanks to montel williams,,i got a good wife in 1999,,anyway,,we are going to watch a taping of his show,,instead of being on the show this time,,,but we was going to get him a snowboard as a big thankyou gift,,,He loves snowboarding,,so we figured it would be something that he would use,,,anyway,,i was looking on ebay and there is so many lengths,,and different boards that,,of course,,got confused again:eek::eek:,,,so i was wondering if anyone on here can give me some advice on what to get,,as far as size,,style or any of that,,,

It's probably not a good gift idea unless you know exactly what he prefers. Each riding style and body style warrants a different style of board (not to mention personal preference and intended usage). I'm not much into snowboards, but I know they're pretty much like skis in that respect. That would be more of something he would have to pick out himself.
