What were they rioting about, and what is "the spot"? From the number of marajuana arrests, it sounds like a NORML rally...

Probably pissed because the Mexicans have raised the price of dope and their welfare $$ doesn't go as far.

No idea where "the place" is but 10th & Broadway is between K&N and Myers.

Maybe they've opened themselves a social club in one of those old buildings since Mayfield went wet.

From what I saw on the news tonight, it's a banquet hall. Apparently it was a party thrown by a bunch of local "people of color". Fights started outside and the police ran everyone off.

Guess that explains all the marajuana violations.

Looks sort of like the building where Holmes restaurant used to be?

I didn't see the news but it probably is. That's what they started using that building for after Holmes' shut down.
