Toms will strutt and gobble well into June. I've been seeing a group of 3 gobblers strutting for hens for nearly 2 weeks in the same field. I heard several birds gobbling on the LBL side of Barkley Sunday morning as well.

They strut and gobble all year long, it is just more intense in the spring. I have heard gobbles/saw strutters in August while fixing fence, November while deer hunting, and and January during a nice sunny day.

I went to Lexington last weekend for the state high school track meet and on the waythere as i was crossing the green river on the WKP. I looked down in those long bottom fields and saw a tom struttin.
