Guess Calloway County head b-ball coach Terry Birdsong will replace Allen Hatcher at Graves County. Any thoughts? Anybody care?

He was a coach at Webster Co. High school when I was there. I'm thinking he was a girls coach?
Anyway... I had him as a teacher (business or somesuch) and he was basically a falic cranium. Ever want to get him riled up, ask him about his modeling career....
Undies and Tuxedos... I've seen the catalogs.

It really was'nt a big surprise. The rumor mill had him going to Graves about a 6 weeks ago. Calloway ... financially would'nt compete with Graves and their boosters. To give credit where its due.... Birdsong built a strong program at Calloway and put us at a level to be in contention season after season. He was also fortunate to have some talented kids that made his job easier.
We lost a lot to graduating seniors and next season was pretty much being reliant on sophmores & juniors. We all knew it was going to be tough regardless... this just adds another kink. We have a lot of talent in our coaching staff... boys & girls. A little change could be good. Birdsong was a strong believer of only starting / playing seniors ...even if they were'nt performing. He was hard pressed to look down the bench and handout a little experience to a younger player. This lost a few ballgames and hurts the players coming into seasons like this one.
Overall.... the sun will still rise and its a good bet we will win some & loose some. If... whoever .. can keep them motivated these kids can surprise you.
