The new poults are here:)

I found this nest when I flushed the hen about 10 days ago. I was planting some beans and milo in some small areas, when she flushed. I checked it again yesterday and all 9 eggs had hatched.

This morning I was out checking cameras. I saw a hen in the road, then the poults started out. Saw 10 all together. This last one was holding his ground, i had to get out and move him toward the rest of the family.

Great pics, glad to see the freeze didn't hurt those guys.

The nest picture looks like something ate some of the eggs. A turkey poult will make a perfect circle in the egg it hatches out of.

I agree! It looks like something may have gotten into that nest.

Something could have eaten on the eggs after they hatched.

luckybuck,

My experience has been the eggs with a circle type hole is where a crow got into it...... All the egg hatches I've come acroos over the years are like the pictures. The poults bust them up pretty good getting out.
