I went to Vegas last year. My one of my best friends I grew up with flew me to Vegas to do the wedding ceremony for him and his wife.

Not being one for gambling or drinking or wanting to have one of those "what happens in vegas stays in vegas" moments I thought I would be bored.

However, I found plenty to do. Make sure to go to "old" vegas to see the light show. Hoover Dam and Lake Mead is absolutely wonderful. I chartered a fishing guide, but that may not be the most romantic thing to do. But you should definately make a stop there. Red Rock Canyon park is amazing to. It's not too far out of Vegas and to drive through the park and see the rocks and formations is really nice.

I also recommend the fried bologna sandwhich at Toby Keith's.

Congrats on the anniversary

Seeing as how I AM one for drinking, gambling, debauchery, and have too big of a mouth to keep anything in Vegas...

Best little secret I found was a brewery resturant just down the strip from the Venetian... Get the sampler platter of microbrews that they have and one of the bacon and bluecheese burgers... Then play video slots right at your table!

Go outside, and stand on the sidewalk for a minute, and someone will hand you porn, and phone numbers of hookers... Do with that what you want. Then get a cab, and a carton of eggs, and have him drive you arround so you can egg the hookers.

For an inexperienced gambler, find a nickel slot machine.

Take the trip to the top of the Stratosphere at night.

See a show - Blue Man Group is amazing

Stay away from the $4.95 Prime Rib buffet - (splurge for the $7.95 buffet:D) Actually you can eat as cheaply or expensively as you choose, lots of good food in this town.

The light and water show in front of the Venetian (I think that's it) is quite spectacular

Fremont Street and its light show in the older section of town is kinda interesting at night.

There is a gun shop that rents machine guns (http://www.thegunstorelasvegas.com/rental.htm)for use on its range
