On my camper the awning is a blue tarp. It is attached to the camper by a groove/slide attachment. The female part is on the camper and the male part is sewn on the tarp. You start at either end of the female part and slide the male part and tarp the full length, kinda like a zipper. There are 2 adjustable tent poles that hold up the other end and rpes and stakes are used to create tension pulling against the camper and poles to hold it up.

The tarp finally gave up the ghost! I guess years of sun and weather finally ate it up enough and it has ripped clean through.

Now I need to order another and am not having any luck finding a replacement. Does anybody know what kind of tarp/awning this is? Have any search tips?

Or does anybody know of a person or company I could send the male part and a new tarp to and they could sew it on for me. It would have to be some heavy duty sewing equipment.

Thanks.

In Eastwood ?

DeBrovy's on Market St. downtown. They will make you anything you want out of canvas, vinyl, cloth, you name it. They have a ton of different colors too. They are towards the east end on Market a block or two from where Hausman JeeP used to be. Take the metal track with you. It will take them a week or so to make it. I have had a few pieces made and they do great work. ;)

Close enough. I'm not positive on the spelling ? DeBrovy or DeBrovey ? They should be in Google though. Good Luck ;)
