Gang,
I have been a Beretta shotgun man my whole adult life. I am also a major lover of Black and Stainless guns. Soooo for 2 yrs now I have been contemplating buying a new O/U Browning Cynergy Sporting Composite w/ 28" barrels. I was going to trade in my Silver Pigeon but when my son got wind of it he asked if he could have it. How could I turn him down ? I had a new adj butt piece installed then they fitted him for the Beretta. I'm glad I did it cause he now averages 24 out of 25 on the trap range. I have been without a shotgun now for 2 yrs and this last week I decided it was time to pull the plug on the kids lunch money. Since they are now out of school it shouldn't matter. :D
I luuuuv this gun ! It is thin, light, doesn't kick, and it looks sooo good it breaks birds just setting there ! It is a bit more difficult to assemble then my Beretta and I was dissapointed that it didn't come with a case but they sell those too. On the other hand it came with 8 different colored sight pieces, 3 different types of triggers, 3 external chokes, factory porting, & a 1/4in pad spacer. The stock has an adjustable comb and the trigger is adjustable to 3 different lenght's of pull.
After I got the gun away from RDL270 and another buddy I was finally able to shoot it. :D I hit 22 out of 25 with it. That's a good thing since this gun will probably be the last shotgun I buy. IF my wife ever finds out what it cost's I will have a new address at RDL's dog pen ! :D
The wooden version of this gun fitted me differently. The stock was thicker and didn't fit my petite frame. Now I'm off to see if I can wear it out.
