How hard is it going to be to get a backwoods spot on the lake at LBL this sunday? I'm sure it will be crowded, but just how crowded? I have never camped on memorial day weekend at LBL.

I took a look at them, I think we will have to do some driving around to find a spot on the lake.

I had to break out the tent this afternoon to make sure she was still in one piece, and didn't have any rips/tears. Here is camp Goetz that will be my home at LBL.

Most of the backwoods camping areas in the TN portion of LBL that could be accessed from land were filled to absolute capacity today.

If you are taking a boat, you can pick pretty much any stretch of shoreline that you like.

I went this weekend and we stayed at Nckel Branch on Barkley. All the spots right on the lake were taken, but there were penty of spots left in the campsite that were never used.
