Well, this and that and that and this finally got out of the way and I was off to visit my mom for mothers day. Friday I was suppose to be headed "HOME" to visit mom and dad for mothers day weekend...well a long week coming to an end left me with a trip to the doctors office...Being I have the greatest mother and father in the world they told me to rest up from work and being sick and we would get together this week for mothers day and my birthday...mom suggested to rest dad suggested to rest and maybe go turkey hunting in TN for the closer...Well I got to call mom at about 6:00 am on mothers day to ask her the famous question..."Who's the best turkey hunter you know? She replied "Scott"...I told her happy mothers day and if you have any relationship with your mother like I do mine you would know how much it meant to her for me to just get out and turkey hunt one more time this season and for me to give them that famous call with the first words being got one...so I dedicate this hunt, this bird, and all the memories of it to my most loved and respected parents...This bird is not photo shop...no tricks...just 19lbs of two 11'' + beards...my best ever double beard...bird acted great...with a few tricks..some soft yelping on my new lost river slate call...and some luck...I was blessed this mothers day with my best multi-bearded turkey and the best parents in the world.
