Always plenty around my place this time of year,but they sure seem to get thinned out by November.

Saw a possum eating a nest of babies in the neighbor's yard last night.

I have them all over my yard. They're tiny. Look like toys. This group would probably eat the possum, they are eating everything else.:D

Saw an old fashioned woods rabbit(baby) back about 2 miles in the big timber under a cliff, and lots of scat! Good to see them.

Seems like I have been seeing a lot for this time of year as well. I was talking to my Dad about it last night and he was saying the same thing.

Hopefully this is a good sign b/c I don't remember them being this thick the past few years...

if the survey I got from the dep of fish and wildlife is correct I think they bottomed out last year and should start increasing for the next 5 years then back down again.
