Well, I have been studying all night...my mind is going crazy. I hunted this weekend when I should have studied for finals. But oh well. I'm getting ready for bed but I'm having a cold beer and a nice fat tag sandwich. Anybody else eating one too!?:D

Well mine's tough and tastes like crap!:D I don't know if I can wait another year to try it again. I've never hunted for turkey in the fall, but I beleive I'm about to try it!

Never tried one that away. Have a nice fresh one in my pocket that may go well.

I figure if you throw a couple of shots of a decent blended whiskey in a shaker, squeeze a couple of lemons and toss a spoonfull of powdered sugar into the mix? Shake well, pour on ice, garnish with cherry, lemon or orange and tag.

Shortcut. 1 can of frozen unsweetened lemonade, 1 can water, 1 can whiskey in blender. Fill with ice, blend until ice is crushed. Garnish with tag.

thats why its hunting. I still had a blast last saturday was my best day yet. Only been turkey hunting seriously for 2 years. Had a bird on the back edge of a hill gobblin like crazy, just never poked his head up for me to see. He came in gobblin non stop from few hundred yards...other than that not much all birds were with hens....but that one hour was good enough for me, my left leg from hip down was numb and left arm from elbow to fingertips were numb for 45minutes waiting on him, took atleast 10 minutes back before I could feel anything in either...almost started to worry! haha, my tag tasted kinda bitter, wasn't too tough though.

Tag is best soaked in buttermilk overnight. Cook in a crock pot for 8 hrs with 1 chopped onion and 5 cups of water, 1 tablespoon of salt and pepper.
