I often check the profile of members to see where a member that makes a particular comment or question lives. Often I still don't know where that is. So how about, on this thread, telling other members, "where's that at". I will start it.

KSP965 - I live at Whitesburg, Letcher County, Kentucky. It is 12 miles from the Virginia border and is half way between Pikeville and Harlan.

I live ten minutes from downtown Louisville near Bowman Field and Cherokee Park. But here's the weird thing. We have deer eating the azaleas, my wife saw a turkey the other morning while running, and I see ducks and geese overhead every day. We also see a large owl in the backyard about three nights a week on average. Of course, we have more squirrels, opossums and raccoons than you can count.

I hear ya Mr. Olt. I live off Eastern Pkwy. in Louisville near U of L. I have been seeing Geese nearly every day. My neighbors think I am nuts when I drop what I am doing and pretend to shoot.... lol

I live in Mt. Washington, about 2 miles south of the Louisville Metro line, just off of Bardstown Rd. I have killed and seen more deer within 10 minutes of my house, than I do if I drive out to "the country".

Coming to you from Bourbon Hollow, Grayson, Carter County in northeastern KY. I basically grouse and quail hunt all over the state, but do my deer hunting on our farm in the Denton community of Carter County very close to the point where Carter/Boyd/Lawrence counties meet, and turkey hunt my mother-in-law's farms in the Webbville area of Lawrence County.

Peach Grove, 15 minutes SE of Alexandria, 15 minutes north of Falmouth. Sits pretty much right on the Pendleton/Campbell county line. From the kitchen window I can see the cooling towers at the Moscow, OH power plant. Makes me kinda glad they decided against nuclear[:O]

Louisville (St. Matthews), near Waggener High School. New hunter and hunt mostly Taylorsville WMA, as have no access to private land. If anybody in the Louisville area needs a hunting partner let me know. Would like to try duck or goose hunting this year if anyone has an extra spot.

Lived in Bowling Green all of my life. Hunt around the Edmonson/Butler County border.

Finn, I didn't know you were the CO in Logan County. I've killed several deer there, including my first, my first bow kill, and my first buck. Have a safe modern rifle season while you're working. I don't envy you the next few weeks!
