Late afternoon Kill

[Low Bird]

After electing to pass on a bearded hen this morning. And then getting on a hot bird at about 11:00am only to have it ruined by some does blowing at me after they caught my scent. I finally connected at about 3:45 this afternoon in a clover field between rain showers. 231/2 lbs. 11 1/2 beard and 1 1/4 spurs. There were three toms with two hens in the field and they put on a good show. I'm wet, tired and cold. Glad I stuck it out it's well worth it! Good Luck to everyone else. Great job. Awesome you stuck with it. I know many people that would just get frustrated and quit. Awesome bird too. Post some pics if you can.
