Who is going to Soggy Bottom Speedway saturday night? Its the first race of the season. I love dirt track racing. Ill be hanging out with the 05 of Kevin Burt.. I cant wait... I dont know whats better turkey hunting or dirt tracking.....

I used to go religiously, but the last couple of years have found my attention turned elsewhere. After turkey season I would like to attend a couple of races, but doubt that I will ever be back in the pits every weekend helping out.

BTW, I used to roll in with no other than the #12 of Russell Childress every weekend.:cool:

I tried going and not going to the pits when Kevin quit last year, it stinks, I hated it. It was so boring. But hes coing back this year and ready i hope. I love dirt.......

Soggy Bottoms is a good place to watch a race. Last time I was there my grandson ask if he could go stand by the fence by turn one...Naturally I told him to go for it...about two laps later after getting covered in dirt he made his way back to the top of the hill where we were sitting...:D

Will most likely go some this summer, my boss has a nephew who has a new Modified that will be running there. I forget his first name but the last name is Hill. He had one bad late model a couple years ago a Pontiac grand prix.

Ben, that would be none other that Phillip Hill. He has the ability to be a very good driver, but seems to get somewhat throttle happy.:o

Out a bit west of Morgantown, Ky on hwy 70

Neat dirt track layout the spectator area is terraced out of a hill side which give you a good view if you sit near or at the top of the hill

This region is well blessed with a bunch of nice tracks. Glascow Ky, Scottsburg In, Haubstaut In, Soggy Bottom, just to name a few. Gezzz I love the smell of dirt on a Saturday night ! Pitch left, turn right :D

Soggy Bottom racetrack is a little over 2 miles from my river property! I'm going to try to catch a race or two during one ov my weekend visits.

Don't forget about bluegrass speedway here in bardstown, good racing. Ol poopy pants even stops by about once a year.

Going to be a outlaw show at Tri State speedway just north of Evansville, Indiana in a week or so. I would go to that but have to be in Louisville for the wifes aunt and uncle's 50th wedding anniversary party the same day.
