Bought some #5 3 1/2 xtended range...some shoot so good you could not ask for better performance...others shoot really poor....
Have you seen or heard of this...consistently is not a norm with the box I have shoot so far

I shot the XR heavy weight #6. They patterned great at 40, but some of the shot was stuck in the paper plate, a bunch more was on the surface fo the board that the plate was stapled to. It would never kill a turk like that. Same results with a SBE, SBE II, and Browning Gold. Nitro 4 x 5 x 7 blew clean through the plywood!

Same results here...I was very disapointed with these loads especially for how expensive they were..$3.25 a shot... I had them gave to me, but still they were nothing what i thought they would be but I got a very consistent pattern using around a .675 to .680 choke, that would be an x-tra full choke. Also were did you get the Nitro 4 x 5 x 7, i've been looking for them and cannot find them...Thanks

Give Uncle Lees a call.......They carry most of the set ups that Nitro recommends......
You can go here and scroll down the page to see what they say will work the best for your gun......BTW....Ive set up Bennelli SBE's several 20 gauges and my Berretta Extrema and they all perform as advertised on Nitro's site.....Actually they performed better than advertised!

NITRO H51013 4x5x7 HeviShot
I learned the hard way also. Tried ammo, tried chokes. Just get what works. Rhino or Primos Jelly Head and some good 'ol Nitro ammo. I have yet to hear of anyone complaining as much about Nitro as you do with Federal, Winchester, Remington, etc.

The difference with Nitro versus the other guys is simply this.......
Nitro builds loads for particular guns using particular choke tubes......They actually test and retest to get the best shooting setup......Now that they are starting to look at the Jelly Head tubes the price isnt so bad......
Its simply another case of ...."you get what you pay for"......I know a whole lot of people that spend hundreds of dollars trying to save money by coming up with a combo that is cheaper, but in the end although they have some good shooting guns, they dont come any where near what the Nitro set ups do..........
