i planted two new clover plots about three weeks ago, they were starting to come up really good. just wondering if the freeze wiped them out or if they will be ok

I would say there is a good chance it is gone. I was looking at some of my plots yesterday. Some of my older clover, that was looking great, is flat on the ground and turning black. My winter peas are gone. This freeze has caused some real damage for farmers in this area, corn that was 3-4" is now brown and flat on the ground.

It is still early enough to replant your clover, I think it would be a good move.

I was also concerned about the freeze, but my Durana clover has survived! (so far)

All three clover plots we have are good a dead but I have faith they may come back.

The clover I frost seeded was coming up and now 80% is dead. I do not know if I should top sew some more or work the ground up again. My pear trees I planted made it better than most trees and some are flowering.

the extension agent here said to just go ahead and mow it off to get it to come back.. i don't know much about it but seems like it would come back on its own to me..

My whitetail institute clover brand is still in the beginning growth stage, but it survived and looks good. I am going to overseed in a couple of weeks just to fill in the gaps.

I have birdsfoot trefoil coming up good as well. My farm is outside of Caneyville Ky, maybe it didn't get hit quite as hard as other areas. Don't know for sure....
