Put down ur chocolate eggs and watever presents u got. Today is the day to rejoice. Christ gave his life for us and 3 days later he was risen. He is the only one whos love for us is great enough that He would die for our sins. Instead of spending your time trying to please your friends or your crush, try spending some time trying to please your Savior. He gave His life so that you may have eternal life. The least you can do is obey his word.

Those are fine words spoken Kybowhunter, we should spend more time obeying the word of the Lord. There is so much about this time of year we take for granted, and reflection and prayer is the only way to see what we have missed. This is a fine time to be thankful and prayerful to whom we owe our life.....

Awesome to see you guys posting about your faith. Jesus is my hero and I am endebited to Him for everything He has done.

I have 2 beautiful kids, an awesome wife, good church, and on and on...But my salvation being the most important.

I am with you guys and will say, "Jesus is the MAN". No other has endured the cross for the sake of others.

64, I'm impressed that you are so open about your faith for such a young man. You are on the right track. So many of us are working on the wrong world. We worry about paying the bills. Stay close to Jesus. He will never give you more than you can handle.

KYBowhunter - You made my day today! As a youth leader at my church, I get so stoked when I see a young person take a stand and not be afraid to witness to others. You are doing just what Paul instructed Timothy (a young minister) to do. He said to Timothy - "Let no man despise thy youth : but be an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity" (1st Timothy Chapter 4 vs. 12). Its very refreshing to see that you are doing as Jesus instructed us to do in these modern times. I know its tough to do (especially the women), but you got it!

I didn't write this but it came from the heart and I thought I would share with everyone. I love this little writing. A friend of mine on myspace wrote that and it just spoke to me. I LOVE JESUS. Its been a year and a few months since I was baptized. Its crazy how prayers come true when someone prays for you. When my aunt died I had another aunt pray that I would be saved and baptized. She told me after I was baptized that the day she saw me crying she prayed that I would be baptized and be saved and a few months later I was being baptized.

I'm glad you said baptized and saved, because there are many people who think that baptism alone is a passage to heaven and it's not. Being saved is the only way - Pretty simple really.
