I'm thinking about purchasing a new shotgun here soon. Just wondering what yall think is the better weapon: remington 870 or a benelli supernova. Right now I'm on the fence between the two. All your guys input is appreciated. Thanks.

The 870 is best, as long as you compare the better 870 to the the Benelli. That would be the Wingmaster or the SP's.
The Express model versions of the 870 is a price driven gun and is short a bit of the machine work the better model has.

I agree with Mulit, the wingmaster is the better built gun. But then again it depends on what your wanting it for. I own both and use the Nova for waterfowl and turkey. Its a shooter. The wingmaster, I had a slug barrel on it and then a 30 inch full for trap.......dang thing beat me to death on the trap field and it sits in my safe.
Try'em both and what ever fits you is the better gun. IMHO

870. The forearm on the Benelli is too loose for me.

Get whichever fits you best. I've had both (regular Nova) and both of them are good guns.
The Benelli tends to be a bit long for a lot of people.
