Whatevers biting the best. Used to be bass but now its propably a tight race between trout, walleye, or anything that you catch in the river.

My favorite fish to fish for are the ones that are biting! I actually enjoy fishing for shark the most, but I only get to do it about once a year:(. So my pick is largemouth.

Jumbo blue cats on the Ohio. The allure is the sheer size of them.If I go bass fishing and catch a 6.5 lber,I've had a tremendous day.If I go chase blues and don't put at least a 30 in the boat its been a horrible outing.Nuff' said.

STRIPER,
I fished bass tournaments for about 15 years and kind of got burnt out. Plus I lived on the Harris chain of lakes in florida and after living there for a while its hard to get excited about bass fishing in Kentucky. I could flip a jig off the screened in porch into Lake Harris. Plus those guys are pretty dang good also:D . Its hard to even break even going against some of the guys around here.

You can't beat a shark for the fight, or the dinner table! I epically like catching the sand sharks from behind the condo at night and taking them back to the grill right after I catch them. A little old bay seasoning, salt, pepper, and lemon juice......I can't wait to go back!

A pond or creek, a shade tree, a tube of crickets, a wore-out Zebco... can't beat bluegill fishing for the most relaxation for the fewest dollars. It gets my vote.

You also left off creek fishing. That's what I like. But you never know what you're going to get.
