I got invited to a true buddy tournament. A friend's dad of mine has a small lake and is going to have a tournament in 2 weeks. He has asked 10 fishermen (5 boats) to get in. After the weigh in he said he will have a cookout. I'm looking forward to it already.

Sounds like a lot of fun, we used to do tournaments like that when I was younger, but it gets harder and harder every year to get everyone together.

I haven't been in one for a good while, I'm looking forward to it. I'll let you know how it turns out. If it rains this Sat. we might not get to go because it is opening day of little league. All of us has kids in Little League a rainout throws everything back a week.

Well we got to have it yesterday. 5 boats (10 fishermen) showed up and we fished for 5 hours. My boat caught 11 or 12 keepers and kept the biggest 5. We were the only ones with a limit so we won hands down. It was a lot of fun and there's nothing like outfishing your buddies:)
