Contact the school she is going to attend. Usually there is a student services organization that can help or they will have a financial aid department that will also help out. There's always student loans but be careful, only borrow what you need because as soon as she graduates they'll begin to ask for payments.

They're full of it.... Go in person to the school to the student aide office. Unless you're pulling down some unreal disability money, she should be able to get all of her expenses covered and then some. When my fiance was still under my roof her grants not only paid for all of her touition, books, ect... She also got about $2000-$3000 back every semester in leftover funds.

Let her get a job at the hospital where she wants to work and they will pay for her tuition. Most all hospitals have tuition programs.

Bingo.... Western Baptist is paying for my wife school right now. She gets done in May. They didn't even make her sign a contract agreeing to stay after she gets done. HEATH

We're always looking for good nurses who want to continue their education. Contact the HR department at Murray Calloway Hospital 762-1100.

You have my sympathy, given your condition and her jugling home time, work and school, it's going to be a tough road ahead, even if all her tuition is paid for. Believe me,I've been through it.But in the long run,it's all worth it.Just try to get all that you can and avoid the student loans as much as possible. My wife has been out of college almost seven yrs and still paying the loans off, even after all the grants and scholarships she recieved.Like I said its going to be tough but its all worth it

Seriously, there are plenty of lenders out there, but grants on the other hand..dunno. There are plenty of heath care providers that will give her monies as well, but she may be obligated to work for them after she graduates. I am not joking on the part about divorcing her and have a child out of wedlock. When I was in grad school there were plenty of scholarships for minorities, women, women wit children...but there sure were not any jumping out for a single white male with an exceptional GPA????

You might have just not been looking hard enough. I had an administrator at MSU tell me that there were hundreds of millions in schollarships that go unused every year simply because nobody ever bothers to apply for them. Most of them are things like small town moose clubs and such. You might have to apply for 200 scholarships, but if you get 10% of those you'll be doing fine.

TRUST me...tell her to go to the school like somebody already said. They will give you more schollarships to apply for than you would even want too!! I just started back to school again in August. I made to much money for some grants, but there were a ton that I'm able to apply for. I just cashed in alot of stocks and other investments and still am going to get all my school paid for!! Take out loans as the very very last resort!!
