Spring Break Fishing!

Just got back from spring break a couple weeks ago! 5 of my friends and me went on a ten hour charter. Caught a lot of big grouper and some amberjack. I got to say amberjack is the hardest fighting fish I've ever had ahold of!

My brother, dad, and I caught a crapload of jacks in Hilton Head a few years ago. We also caught alot of barracuda.

Yep, I agree. Those fish are the hardest fight i have ever had. Cought two in an hor after the boat i was on had a limit of grouper and snapper. Needless to say after fighting those two fish a quit fishing because my arms and back hurt so much. Definately the best fight i have experienced so far.

We went out of Destin, Florida on the Charter boat Backlash. This was the second time I had been out on this boat and both trips have been great. I can't wait to go back out again!

Those amberjack eat about as well as they fight too. ;) I wish I had a freezer full of them right now. I skipped out on my annual fishing expedition there last October because I couldn't get in on a decent trip. :(

Great picture, looks like you guys had a blast! If you want a real fight sometime, head to Alaska and take on some of the King Salmon! After bringing four in one day, my back and arms were so sore I felt like I had primed tobacco all day.
