Guys, I caught a bass to put on the wall this weekend and was wondering if anyone could give me the name of a good taxidermist in the Lexington or Danville are. I'm looking for someone who will do a great job.

There is a Wethington over in Casey County who does some of the finest work anywhere. He wins national awards. You can find some of his work at Lake Country Outdoor in Jamestown. I think his first name is Jerry. His turn around is not very fast, but everyone I know that has used him says its well worth the wait

Randy Alcorn is also very good. He is located in Berea, about 30 min. from Lexington and Danville. You might give him a call. I've never been disappointed with his work.

these guys are right gerrys taxidermy is unbeliable. he is working on my personal best now. dropped it off 4/18, he said it would take about three months to get back

he does great looking fish as well as other animals (deer,turkeys,ducks)

Wethington does good work, however there is one a whole lot better.
Jerry (Soupy) Mays between West Liberty and Salyersville.
Wethington would be closer to Danville. From Lexington I would say about the same.
I have a bluegill by each if you would like to see as I live close to Danvelle. Also have a bass by Mays.
Prices are about the same as is delivery.
