Just wondering on what is your all time favorite bait since I know people will have many different answers.

For starters mine is a texas rigged june bug Brush Hog. Always have had success with it and it even won the last tournament I fished with my dad when it landed me a 5 lbs 3oz largemouth on McNabb there in Barkley.

I love the tequila sunrise berkley powerbait it's my favorite soft bait. I love the original Rapala for ponds. The absolute best bait I have ever used is a bluegill hooked through the tail. When you hold the rod up and make them stay on top of the water it really tears 'em up. It works great when the bass are on the banks.

Gary Yamamoto Senkko worm in black and blue fleck if I am fishing soft plastic. If not I would fish a heddon Sonic (white, red, with black lightning bolt) the old style with the screw in hooks.

black 1/2 oz. jig with a black trailor if I can only pic one. I also like black jig with blue trailor, green pumpkin or watermelon with greenish trailor, and peanutbutter and jelly with brownish trailor. Basically any jig and pig.

Mine would have to be nothing more than a 1/8 ounce jig and a 3" twistertail. This bait is so versital that just about anything that swims will eat it any time of the year and even BIG BASS.

split shot sinker, live bait hook of your choice, and live shad. Even I can look like a pro with this set up. Flip the chunk rock banks, and any points.. If you want to talk about artificial I have to go with a spinner bait.Buzz it across the surface, slow roll it , bounce it off the bottem, the sky is the limit. Plus I caught my biggest KY bass off a double willow leaf spinner bait 7lb 2 oz on cumberland on april 1st.

Hands Down, a jig. 3/4 to 1/2 ounce if fishing ledges on KY or 3/8 to 1/4 if fishing some of the smaller lakes in KY. Black & Blue or green pumpkin with matching trailers. A great big bass bait!!!!

I'm old school. A big fat nightcrawler. Or if I feel fancy a purple artificial worm, texas rigged. I don't catch many fish but I get plenty of naps and the bait is cheap. :D

Not really -- I agree with the buzz bait comment. Looks like an explosion when the bass hit. Kinda' hard not to get nervous and jerk too soon.

I love my buzzbaits when the weather is right but my favorite for this year so far is Strike Kings Bleeding Tubes. Green Pumpkin seed. I've gone through 4 packages in 2 weeks and have caught some dandies off of KY.
Love a chug bug too. . . just got to know how to use it.

On Barkley it's tought to beat a 1/2 oz. carolina rig with a zoom junebug monster worm. Also good with the mann's hardnose lizards in green pumpkin. The rapala DT series are amazing for covering water.
