I dunno about the bass bite, but heard a few reports of the crappie really coming on, if you can find a hole without a muskie.

I live near Cave Run, but no longer fish it, so I can put this out. If you want, and know how to get the smallies to bite, take a left at the end of Warix Run and fish the dirt/rock bank there. Went diving and saw many 4-7 pounders there,I could'nt get them to bite, also up Scotts Creek where the rock face is on the right going up, caught a 5+ there and a few more. Good Luck!

For smallie action try a fat rap in a crawdad pattern and bump it across the pebbled bottom especially where the bottom transitions from gravel to sand or mud.....Let me know if it works for you.....I use this technique on Cumberland around this time of year and its deadly......

Went today (fri)
Crappie moving up into the creeks. But are running small.
On the small mouth and spottedbass, listen to maxcam.
When had 5 muskie come up today.Landed to the largest was 38in.
Muskie are in the same spots as the spotted bass and smallies.
