Took my son and my dad to Nolin this past Saturday for a little fishing. Water was murky to heavily stained on the upper end and cleared as you went down towards the dam. Water temp was 57-61. We caught and released 49 bass with a couple 12" crappie and some whites. All in all a really good day but we never really figured out the crappie. Anyway, nothing over 17" for the bass but a fun day none the less. Most of the bass were in the 13-16" range. Jigs, crankbaits and spinnerbaits were the lures of choice. Good luck and be careful.
