I have never fished Elkhorn river, much less any river. I go to UK and my buddy drove up to the River a few days ago and said he caught a big crappie. Im going to start fishing on the river here in the next week probably around once or twice a week. I would appreciate any tips. I really dont care that much about what kind of fish I catch, I just hope to pull in a few. Im not all that worried about advice hinting at where along the river I should fish (not that anyone wold tell me a honey hole:o ). I just want to know what type of bait I should use, and what kind of fish I could probably have good luck with. Thank you all.
