Cedar Creek Lake

Went over to Cedar Creek Lake today. My son caught 30 fish and I caught 22 fish. It was a mixed bag of about 15 small bass and the rest were about 1/2 & 1/2 blugill and crappie. Several of the bluegill were keeper size but the crappie were mostly 8 1/2 inchers with a 9" size limit.

Caught this 6 lb bass on a black and blue jig & pig. The picture dosen't do it justice. It had a big gut but my hand was kinda pushing it up.

And this was the only "nice" crappie I caught.....

There were so many boats on the lake you just about had to set in line to fish a spot. It was tooooo crowded.

Couple of nice lookin fish though! If you did that good on a crowded day I bet a day with nobody on the lake would be unreal!!
