I have a NEF tracker 2 slug gun. This looks just like the 12 ga. shotgun (single shot) and has rifle sights. This gun holds really tight groups but with the iron sights I can not get the full potential outta this gun. Is it possible to WELD a scope mount onto the receiver of this gun? Would this be SAFE or would the heat make the receiver unsafe to shoot? I hear several say most gunsmiths will not drill/ tapp these and I don't want to do anything that is iffy to some gunsmiths.
