Boy O' Boy am I glad it's Huntin' season & I don't watch much TV. This time of year during election time is terrible....[V]

Just once I'd like to see a candidate attempt to win an election on his on merit, accomplishments, and drive. Rather than spend alot of $$$$ on <i>Mudslingin.</i>

Perry I've seen several candidates attempt to win an election on their own merit....and lose. The sad fact is candidates use what works and negative advertising is what works. Maybe we'll live to see the day when that changes, I sure hope so.

Man, I can second that!!! A couple of years ago I ran for public office. I beat the incumbent in the spring and loss to a challenger in the fall. I tried the high road. I didn't make promises that I couldn't or wouldn't keep. I didn't say anything negative about the other candidates. They, on the other hand, slung mud with a bucket and didn't let the fact that they were lying bother them one bit. Bottom line, out of 9000+ votes, I loss by 362.[8]

Can't complain, Mike. Seems like some things have changed and some haven't. I remember one time you said, after a vote, "gentlemen we're a paper tiger". Hopefully, that has changed somewhat, but to what extent is debatable.

Anybody ever seen a presidential debate the year before the election? The Democrates have been campaigning ever since Bush took office. Having George Bush as my president makes me proud to be an American.[:D]

Hello, my name is Candidate X and for the record I would like to state that I have indeed smoked pot, had affairs with hot young interns, watched porn on a regular basis, cheated on my taxes, voted against bills that would benefit senior citizens, voted against abortion while secretly paying for a young intern to have one, stole candy from a baby, kicked my neighbors dog, been racially insensitive by performing a "Chinese Fire Drill", Drank on the job, laughed at someone elses misfortune, dodged the draft, dressed in drag, been addicted to pain killers, lied to my mother, parked in a handicap spot, gambled on college sports, groped waitresses, and last but not least, killed in anger.

Place a vote for "honesty" come tuesday....
