FWIW the whites should be biting in the river now.Caught 25-30 two weeks ago,but they were mostly small males.Out of all those only brought home about ten.The bigger fish should be biting by now.

Just as a reminder, limit on white bass was changed to 15 per day.

Can you help me out with what types of bait should be good and the best way to present them?

What part of the lake/river were you on?

Thanks!!!

is the water high enough for a 16ft aluminum v hull w/ 50 hp outboard?

Are you jigging the very bottom, banks, structure?

Are you putting minnows on the grubs?

Thank you very much for the help!

You'll prob. have to fish from the bank as its skinny water.Have you ever fished for running whites? You could throw a boat anchor at them and they'd try to eat it.No minnows, just target eddies and current breaks and you'll do fine. Most are coming from about five feet deep. Hope this helps..........
